Suzanna Peczeniuk-Hoffman

I was born in Detroit, Michigan. My mother, Terenia, is from Poland and my father, Phillip, is Ukrainian. My first language was Polish but in addition to this I also speak English, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Russian.

I received a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Music Therapy  and a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Western Michigan University. I am currently completing a second Master’s degree in Business Administration from WMU.

I currently reside in Kalamazoo with my husband, Brandon, and our 3 wonderful boy dogs—Lucky, Yippy, and Paisley. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor activities, world travel, and cooking (my mother owned a Polish restaurant for almost 40 years—I had to learn a thing or two!)

I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings before starting my adventure into the financial services industry. I have worked in hospice for over 11 years, pediatrics and neonatal intensive care for over 10 years, and behavioral health for over 6 years.

Working in healthcare, I have learned how important it is to have a plan that includes medical decisions imbedded with financial planning.

Through my experiences in healthcare, I learned that health is not only about physical, emotional, and spiritual health but also financial health. As a first-generation immigrant, I learned that money impacts our life daily. I enjoy helping others not only live well physically, emotionally, and spiritually but also financially. Helping others map out a plan for living well is something I am passionate about.

I, like many others, would like to have financial independence with all of the resources to live well throughout my life, including the ability to live well now.

An important life lesson that I have learned is that by planning out my dreams and aspirations in collaboration with trusted professionals, it has always empowered me to accomplish my goals. Whether planning a vacation, following an education track, or making a financial plan, collaborating with experts helps you attain your hopes and dreams.
